At Loops of Kindness, we are dedicated to two main goals: fundraising for children’s education in Costa Rica through Etsy and providing opportunities to volunteer by crocheting items to be donated to communities in the United States, Costa Rica, and Peru. Join us in spreading kindness and knowledge through our fundraising efforts and volunteer programs. Together, we can make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and communities in need.
Our Story
Loops of Kindness was founded in 2021 by Diana Moya Lapeira, a teen immigrant from Costa Rica. Recognizing how fortunate she was to receive an education, she decided to take action and advocate for others through fundraising. Education is a key to progress that opens up innumerable doors to those lucky enough to receive it. Help us toward a better future through education by directly donating to Fundación DEHVI, going through our fundraiser on Etsy and getting a cute, handmade plush, or volunteering by crocheting items that will be donated to communities in the United States, Peru, and Costa Rica.

Octopi for Preemies
Our latest project, making crochet octopi for preemies, aims to bring comfort and joy to little lives. We aim to collaborate with crochet organizations and hospitals nationally to collect and donate these goods.
